Patrick Hannum

Patrick graduated from U.C.S.B in 1988 with a B.A. in Physiology and cell biology. He went on to receive a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Sargent College of Boston University in 1991. Patrick practiced for nine years, specializing in orthopedic physical therapy before taking over Julie Cleavenger Physical Therapy for Ms. Cleavenger when she fell ill. After several years of practice, Patrick met and studied with Art Riggs, advanced Rolfer. When he personally experienced the 10-series of Rolf treatments, Patrick decided to study structural integration with the Rolf Institute. He became a certified Rolfer in 2001. Since then, he has been practicing Rolfing Structural Integration in addition to manual physical therapy. Over his career he has taken over 40 orthopedic P.T. courses and several Rolfing S.I. courses. He works to maintain the standard of care set by Ms. Cleavenger who died in 2002. This practice involves one-on-one treatment sessions focusing on the specific needs of individual patients.
